iRONic Ventures is a Berlin-registered company (Amtsgericht Charlottenburg, HRB 254455 B) with three activities: we invest our own capital in AI-first companies, we build and operate our own products, and we deliver a small number of build engagements for European startups.
The lowercase i is intentional. So is everything else we do.
The person behind it
Robin Jose has spent three decades building software platforms and the teams behind them. He led a 150-person global software organization at Cisco, built the data platform for the launch of Reliance Jio as VP of Platform Development, where it scaled past 100 million customers, and drove applied AI programs at Dell EMC that produced 18 filed patents.
In Berlin since 2017, he was CTO and Managing Director of Scorable (acquired by BondIT), Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Finstar Labs (acquired by Finstar Group), and Chief Data & Analytics Officer at wefox, the Berlin insurtech, through its scale-up years.
Today he is co-founder and CPTO of Nexora, a Berlin startup building agentic AI for outbound calling, founder of AIGist24, an AI transformation consultancy for mid-market organizations, and the investor behind iRONic's portfolio. He writes The Leading Edge, a newsletter on AI and product leadership with 3,100 readers, and posts daily to 23,000 followers on LinkedIn.
